The publication provides insight and a succinct overview of all developments related to gender-issues across the African continent. Some of the issues addressed include gender-based violence (GBV), HIV & AIDS, female genital cutting and mutilation (FGM/C), development and rights.

The Gender Issues Monthly Monitor is housed in Consultancy Africa Intelligence's Gender Issues Unit, which strives to be the definitive portal for information and intelligence on all gender-related developments across the African continent.
